In January 2009 the authoress Ludmila Filipova signed a contract with the Russian publishing house ‘Olimp’ which is under the aegis of one of the biggest Russian publishing houses – ACT. The house bought the rights for publishing in Russian the novels Scarlet Gold and Glass Butterflies. Her agent for Russia – Ivana Petkova, thinks that it is a significant success for a Bulgarian author. Her books are expected to be translated into Russian till the end of the year.

About Ludmila

Ludmila Filipova is the author of the novels Anatomy of Illusions (2006), Scarlet Gold (2007), Glass Butterflies (2008), The Parchment Maze (2009) and Dante’s Antichthon (2010), The Anomaly (2011), which have become nationwide bestsellers and have been translated into several languages. Three of her novels are currently being developed into feature films.
